Wonderful Dinner experience

had a fabulous dinner on a recent trip to Savannah - recommended by the Concige at the Doubltree. Made a reservation (earliest was 8:15) - so we got there a little early, had a drink in the neat bar and at 8:15 prompt they had a table for us in the main, front dining room. Service was superb as was the food. Was non inexpensive but who cares for this once a year experience. We'll be back.

best on river street

i've eaten at many of the restaurants on river street, but the only one i've gone back to over and over is vic's. their menu is surprisingly inventive and when the food arrives to the table, its better than expected. i've never had a bad experience with the staff - always fast & friendly.

Although Carey Hilliard's has several locations in Savannah, this is my favorite. On the southside of town, close to everything. The food is very good from bbq to sandwiches to seafood. Great service and very reasonable prices!

The last time I went here, it was with a group of 12 (we called ahead) and we each ordered something different and sat around a round table in the back and enjoyed a Chinese culinary feast!! The service was friendly and accomodating ( there were some people with dietary restrictions in our group) and everyone was extremely satisfied at the end. We are talking of doing it again soon.
