I have been using Coastal Dry Cleaners for a long time and I have always had excellent service. They go above and beyond to make sure that I am happy with my clothes and service. Let me tell you some of the things that they have done for me that you will not believe businesses still do...It will also explain why I would want to take the time to give them a good review. I had an important interview one day that I was so excited about but on the way I spilled my drink in my lap. I stopped by the cleaners in a panic to see if they could help. The girls were so sweet! First, they found something that I could put on so that I could give them my skirt. Then they took my skirt, cleaned it, pressed it and brought it back to me. The icing on the cake was that they did not even charge me! They said that it was a "random act of kindness" and hoped that it would bring me good luck at my interview. The owner happened to come in at that time and when they told her what happened she said that she did not want my spill to spoil my interview! She said that it was their way of trying to help turn my luck around that day, and it did! At that time they did not know me but now they sure do because as luck would have it, I got the job and I have to think that it was partly because of them (and of course my natural charm). That experience, just the caring kindness of a stranger, certainly changed my attitude that day. I can not help but think that if I had not stopped at THAT Dry Cleaners I would have been nervous and agitated for my interview, instead it turned my day around. <br />
I should also say that over the years they have done many things that most businesses just would not do for people. <br />
*Once I stopped by to pick my clothes up and I had forgotten my check book...they actually trusted me to take my clothes and to come back the next day to pay! (Of Course I went back and paid) <br />
*I received a call one morning that was bad news, I needed to attend a funeral with a dear friend. It was an out of town funeral, I needed to leave that evening and needed a dress right away but I had to leave for work. I took a chance and stopped by Coastal Dry Cleaners that day at lunch time. It was past time for their same day service but THEY STILL DID MY DRESS. Not only did they rush my dress through but then they sent it to their store in Pooler so that I could pick it up there on my way to the airport. Wait, it gets better! I was running late so one of the girls met me at the entrance to the airport! It just does not get better than that. <br />
*I just can not say enough good things about how they go above and beyond to make sure that I am happy with my clothes. They give me a discount and coupons every time I complain about gas prices. I would have to say that it is like walking into Mayberry with their customer service.
